We have tried to make our website accessible to as many people as possible and have included a number of features which can be used to assist you with navigation.
Each of our pages has a corresponding accessible / printable page for those who are unable to use our main website. This can be accessed by either clicking the letter 'A' which is located at the top left-hand corner of every page or by clicking the 'PRINT PAGE' link at the bottom of every page.
You can return to the main graphical website by clicking BACK TO MAIN WEBSITE at the top of each of these accessible / printable pages.
All hyperlinks on the website have title attributes and all images have alt descriptions.
On both the main site and our accessible / print pages, our main menu items have accesskeys assigned. We have chosen access keys which should not interfere with the most common screen reading technology shortcuts.
For those who would like to skip navigation and browse directly to the text of our pages, we have included a skip navigation link at the beginning of each page which should allow users of screen reader technology to jump directly to the page content.
The following navigation shortcuts have been assigned:
Using the access key feature differs between browsers. In most web browsers, the user does this by pressing Alt (on PC) or Ctrl (on Mac) simultaneously with the appropriate character on the keyboard followed by the enter key. In Opera, the user presses Shift+Esc followed by the access key (without Alt). In Mozilla Firefox 2.0 the access key keyboard combination has changed to Alt + Shift and no enter key is subsequently required.
We have created a site map, accessible from bottom links of every page in the main website and from the top on the accessible / print version. This site map includes links to every page main page on the website.
