GRANDPARENTS' NETWORK
Being the grandparent of a child or adult with autism presents particular challenges:
- being involved - but not directly
- needing information - but not as a parent
- needing support - but recognising the greater pressure on parents.
We have set up a forum for grandparents to make contact with one another and so provide information and support. We hope also that you will find opportunities to be involved in the work of Autism Speaks – to help us fund research that will help us find the causes of this perplexing and isolating condition.
