AUTISM SPEAKS' COMMUNITY FUNDRAISING
Autism Speaks is grateful to individuals and organisations in the community who fundraise for us. Our community supporters are also raising awareness about the need for research, which will bring us a step closer to knowing what is causing autism. If you have an idea for an event - perhaps a Summer Ball or a Christmas Concert, a sponsored swim or a sponsored slim, a run on the road or a walk in the park, champagne & strawberries in the garden or a teddy bears picnic in the woods… Autism Speaks would love to hear from you and help you make your event the success it deserves. We also have a vibrant volunteer Local Group in Berkshire, who in less than a year of being established has raised over £1000 towards our research projects. With over ten members, the group has become well known in the local community, creating a presence at local events and in the local media.
